PFLAG Canada is there when it seems no-one else is.

Every day, PFLAG Canada volunteers are contacted by frightened adolescents and by angry, fearful or ashamed parents. PFLAG Canada supports, educates and provides resources to anyone with questions or concerns. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on their website.
All members of the LGBTQ community and/or their families or friends who are looking for support are invited to attend.

We welcome youth, parents, siblings and friends to our meeting where we offer peer support to help with the 'coming out' and 'living out' process.

For more information, email goderichon@pflagcanada.ca, ask to be friends PFLAG Canada Goderich (this page), or contact the sexual health nurses of the Huron County Health Unit at: 519.482.3416 OR 1.877.837.6143 Ext 2257

Let me introduce myself - I'm Jen Zoethout.

As Chapter leader I have been involved with PFLAG and the LGBTQ community for quite some time. A decade even. I have friends who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, transexual, and even cissexual heterosexual! By day I am a Librarian. I am also a transplanted farm girl who has lived in several big cities. I've pretty much seen it all. I don't judge.

I was pleased to present at the AMDSB today about the services that PFLAG offers. Here is a picture of me with a teacher known as "Lizard"?

And they gave me a very nice thank-you card!
